When London perfumer CK Denny migrated to Tasmania with his family in 1921, holding a packet of lavender seeds sourced from the southern French Alps – the home of true French lavender – this was the beginning of Bridestowe Lavender. Today Bridestowe Lavender Estate runs over 260 acres and is the world’s largest privately-owned lavender farm. If you can’t visit in person, get lost in the purple flowers, clean air and open spaces of the farm in our 2024 wall Calendar. You can almost smell the true French lavender.
